Schedule of Condition of a 7,000 sq ft medical practice in Codsall, Wolverhampton
The schedule of condition report was required by the client in connection with the granting of a new lease. The building was a purpose built medical practice with consultation and treatment rooms. A photographic and written schedule was commissioned.
Challenges
- The schedule inspection had to be completed without disruption to the patient medical appointments.
- The building was in a cellular layout with small consultation rooms, corridors, dispensary, patient waiting areas and administration rooms.
Solution
We were able to offer to undertake parts of the survey outside doctor surgery hours to mitigate disruption during our inspection.
A consistent, methodical approach to the schedule content ensured that each part of the building was fully documented and with a clear reference plan for future readers of the report, there was no ambiguity to the information provided.
