Meet Your Surveyor
Chris Hedley BSc (Hons) MRICS
CH Building Consultants was founded by Chirs Hedley and is commercial building surveying firm.
Chris, a Chartered surveyor, provides a variety of professional building consultancy services ranging from surveys to construction project management.
Chris has over 30 years of experience operating within the commercial property market, specialising in dilapidations, surveys, technical due diligence, development monitoring, project management and party wall advice.
He has worked on instructions for individual private investors and personal pension funds through to large corporate companies and institutional clients, including Aviva, Cisco, Johnson Controls, and Mountstreet.
Chris began his career at EC Harris delivering core building surveying services to large UK companies, culminating in management of the Court Service estate in the Midlands which incorporated 95 crown, county and magistrates courts.
Moving on from public sector work, Chris worked for CBRE for a further ten years, specialising in refurbishment projects for office and industrial occupiers, dilapidations and due diligence surveys for large multi-million pound real estate transactions. An opportunity to start building consultancy services at a regional firm close to home brought Chris to Towler Shaw Roberts and a further ten years of delivering expert building surveying advice to local and national clients.
Experience in all aspects of the commercial property market has provided Chris with enviable track record in office, industrial, hospitality, retail and public sectors.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys coaching local junior football for 5 to 8 year olds and is a Level 1 FA coach and Level 1 FA goalkeeper coach. A keen trail runner, Chris can often be found running over the Shropshire Hills at the weekend or polishing his classic mini which he restored.
